Kori Carter
Kori Carter - the fastest hurdler in the country while she was in high school.
Kori Carter was an outstanding hurdler from the beginning of her track and field journey. While attending Claremont High School, she made it to CIF State Finals all four years in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles. When Kori was a sophmore she was a CIF State Champion in the 300m. By her junior year, she was dominating in both hurdle events. Kori was not only the fastest hurdler in California, but in all of the United States, and she still had another year of high school. She had the same success as a senior, and when it was time for Kori to move onto college, she decided to go to Stanford. Once again, as a junior in college, Kori became the fastest hurdler in the 400m hurdles in the NCAA. At Stanford, she was a nine time All-American and held a former NCAA record.
